Granhof Restaurang Och - Uppsala

Was looking for something offering Swedish dishes and saw this restaurant, seemed a little further out but turned out it wasn’t that far. Cosy atmosphere, good staff, wonderful delicious food, seemed fairly busy, popular with locals. I had the pickled herring starter, going for a local dish wow, simply delicious, who knew it could be so nice! Beef main meal and pie for dessert, all fantastic the best food in town!

Very beautiful and cosy environment for dinner and drinks! The stuff was really friendly and fast in terms of service. The dishes integrates european and swedish tastes. Do not miss the mushroom soup!Superb wine list.

I visited this restaurant with my husband twice while we were in Uppsala last month. We loved this place, the ambience, the food, the service. We highly reccomend it to those who are seeking for something exceptional in Uppsala, though friendly and comfy.

Simple perfect !! Really good food and reasonably priced, really nice local and atmosphere!!! We are definitely recommend it.

This was a nice surprise! A gem hidden in plain sight. Granhof lets you choose between à la carte and a set menu that really is good value for money, and was our choice. We loved the food, and enjoyed good service. Another nice detail was the local wine grapes grown in Greece vinified and bottled in Länna Bruk outside Uppsala. A different take on Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The fairly small looking building contained several dining areas in two stories. And when did you last see a restroom large enough to contain a jacuzzi? (try the upper floor). We will be back.
