The Sandwich Spot Berkeley

I now walk by the Subway sandwich shop and laugh at the fools that haven't realized that there is a significantly better sandwich with their name on it just around the block. Fools! The Sandwich Spot serves basic sandwiches with nothing too special about them. But the quality of bread, meat and cheese makes it a superior sandwich to the cardboard things you can get other places in this area. Not every sandwich I have eaten here has been out-of-the-park but 8 out of 10 were certainly homeruns. If you want a little kick to your sandwich, ask for THE BOMB sauce! I hate the 2 line system they have set up (it causes plenty of confusion for newbies), but once you get up to order the friendly staff will take care of you.

$5 salads on Mondays! Their home made Jalepeno Ranch dressing has earned it 's nickname as 'bomb ' sauce. The staff are so friendly it 's amazing.

During my sophomore year, I lived in Martinez Commons and walked by Montague's every single day on my way to classes.
