Golden Restaurant - Twillingate

We were excited to discover a restaurant that served Asian cuisine, but unfortunately, our experience was not very good. The ambiance was dark and everything seemed a bit dirty. The spicy shrimp dish we ordered was mostly sweet with very few shrimp, and at CAD12, we felt it was overpriced. After also ordering two steamed rice dishes, our bill came to CAD37, which we felt was too high considering the quality and quantity of the food.

The food at Golden Restaurant is decent, but it lacks authentic Chinese flavors. The management and wait staff were somewhat rude and seemed indifferent towards customers. The prices were average, but it took a while to be served. Despite the small number of customers present, my meal took longer than expected to be prepared. Although not terrible, Golden Restaurant is the only Chinese option in the area, so customers may not have high expectations. In the end, it's best not to expect too much and you should still be able to enjoy your meal at Golden Restaurant.

This place serves the worst eating of all time. don't waste your time and your money. had suppe edible, the egg rolls terrible, hawaii 5 oh is garnelen scallops, huh with sweet the sauce was so sweet we couldn't eat it. we pay 37.00 for. two other people went at the same time we did and commented, it was the worse thing they had and we agreed.

Bad/dirty looking atmosphere. only cash and food are sub par. our bark meat and broccoli leaves did not end up cooked and was rough. if they want good Chinese trip an hour and go to lewisporte.

It is her typical Chinese food and not bad for a small town in Newfoundland. However, the personal is incredibly rude and unacquisitioned, and the restaurant itself needs a lot of work.
