Black Bear Diner Turlock

This location is the best of all the location I have dined at in my area! Staff very knowledgeable as well as friendly and interactive not just coming to the table to place food and disappear until you catch their eye again. Entire restaurant was clean, including restrooms and I was dining on a Sunday after church let out. They were busy but did not seem stressed out. Food was prepared to perfection and came to our table hot. I recommend this diner overall but if you happen to be in the Turlock area, this is the location to eat at.

Service is good. Staff also good service with a smile. No problems here. Hashbrowns are not my favorite here-at all. I love the chicken fried steak w/gravey. Delicious! Fried chicken dinner is delicious also nice and crunchy! Large servings though 55+ smaller servings is available. Which is really nice.

They forgot to put in our order by accident so they apologized, and comped us a bowl of chili, 20% off our meal, and gave us 2 free desserts. All for 15 extra minutes of waiting. We weren't even bothered by they insisted. I always love the food because it's very homey, but the service is even better. Also, sufficient GF options.

The food is good and they give you very generous portions. Usually have leftovers to take home. Friendly crew. The building could use some deep cleaning, but the tables are kept clean.
