Steak 'n Shake - Tupelo

The woman working the drive-thru was incredibly rude, and her attitude was completely unprofessional. I live 15 minutes away and didn’t realize that my order was messed up until I got home. I regret not checking my food before leaving, but I shouldn’t have to; I should be able to trust that my order is made correctly. Additionally, I have tried calling the restaurant seven times to speak with a manager, but no one answers the phone. They weren't busy when I was there, so I don’t understand why no one can pick up. It seems likely they get a lot of complaints and avoid answering because of it. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced issues at this location; previous visits have had either cold or sloppily prepared food. I’ve tried to overlook it in the past, hoping for improvement, but clearly, nothing has changed. In my opinion, they either need to shut down, get new management, or hire more employees who actually care about their jobs!

This place is absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are amazing. You truly feel at home here. I highly recommend it as a must-visit. The prices are reasonable for what you get—a great bargain!

Stopped for a couple of burgers while traveling through Tupelo. Bbq burger was pretty good. Fries were cold and tough though. Had to give up on them and throw them away when we got to the hotel room. Even the microwave couldn't revive them. Drinks with the nearly 9 dollar burger were miniscule and didn't have much ice at all.

Onions are sliced way too thick, fries are so thin they're cold before you leave the drive through. Burger itself is phenomenal and I love the long style pickles. Highly recommend the garlic burger or the Frisco melt.
