Contribuiți la feedbackNo doubt that the dorrado I ordered was well grilled, served with all the right frits, dry but ok rice, and a small salad where there were very delicious olives, BUT what I DO NOT order lost this place some stars. If you attract tourists, you cannot play dishonest games. The bill I expect was 25 Dinar. The bill was 63 Dinar. Since the waiter took the time to explain what he had brought me and show me the price of each after the meal, but before he presented the bill, he obviously expected some repulsion. All right, I ate the food and enjoyed it, but I was sure that tout son ensemble I meant were all included with the fish. We bent the price a little back, but basically they were dishonest, oversold, and very overwhelmed me. Shame on me once, but R. le Parnasse didn't catch me again.
I just asked a tea. They brought me this most expensive specialty tea. I didn't drink and asked an espresso. They wanted me to pay everything. Except it was a good place. You get low points as you treat tourists.
SCAM ALERT. Ridiculously expensive. Expect western prices without western quality or service. Ordered a shisha (20 dinar), a juice (16 dinar, which he almost forced me to order saying it's the best), a water and tea. Total was 53 dinar. Same order anywhere else in the area or the medina would be between 10 and 20 dinar. Even less in hidden gems in the medina. He only brought out the menu afterwards to justify the bill! Overall, this is not a tourist friendly place, felt taken advantage of. It's a shame really, it's a nice place and the shisha was ok. I am spending 2 months in the area, this could have been my daily shisha and dinner spot if their prices were not so over the top. I did like the comfortable seating and relatively clean bathrooms (unfortunately those are rare in most Tunisian places). But those comforts are not worth the excessive pricing. I'll leave it to the rich locals who want to show off. If you're also a tourist, stick to the more authentic places, at least their pricing and service is in line with the product, quality and service.
It is somewhat overpriced and the food is quite average for such a beautiful place I would not recommend.
LIES ALERT : THIS RESTAURANT IS NTGH BUT TOTAL LIES Stay away, total lies in this restaurant When we got there, the waiter welcomed us incredibly. He told us that he will give us a menu once we get to the 3rd floor where there is the restaurant. Once we got there, he said that not everything in the menu is available. He proposed some dishes and said that their price is 25 DT. When I checked the menu, however, I found that the prices are less than 18 DT. We asked for a juice, he told us it is 12 DT although in the menu it is just 6. When they served us food, it was aweful. The bread they gave us was not fresh and I guess it stayed in their stocks for at least 3 days. I was praying Allah that i won't get sick. The chicken seemed to be okey, but the countaty compared to the price is a joke. When we asked for a receipt, the waiter -who already confirmed that theywwilgiveue us a receipt- said that they do not issue ones. BE CAREFUL AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS. THEY ARE LIARS
