Gypsea Market - Tulum

Surprised but not so surprised at the low reviews. This is your run of the mill overpriced store where you can actually find stuff for a fraction of the price in Chedraui. There are some things that you just can't get elsewhere so this is sometimes handy. Sometimes just nice to walk around and look cool too

I got food poisoning TWICE from meat and cheese here. I was charged $10 each for mini Dasani waters, didn’t notice until I got home. Overpriced.

Extremely overpriced, not a big selection. Minimal alcohol choices. Would recommend anywhere else besides this.

So grateful this place is open late. They sell activated charcoal for food poisoning and they have saved me a world of trouble twice when staying in Tulum. Prices are a little high and maybe not the best selection but definitely a good store for the location.
