Contribuiți la feedbackThe best bread I?ve ever tasted in my life. Barrio Breads is better than any fancy bakery in Paris, Berlin, or Rome. Amazingly, its signature loafs and rolls taste even better than my memories of childhood, on the tram riding to school, eating a hot buttered Kaiser roll from my neighborhood bakery in Graz, Austria, a bakery over 500 years old. Barrio Breads not only makes the best bread I have ever had, I cannot imagine any bread could ever be better. World class breads ina local location. Unbelievably good.
I?ve read about this place in my hometown for years, but now living in Northern California didn?t have a chance to try it until two weeks ago while visiting relatives. I?ve wasted years. This bread is phenomenal. I bought four varieties as we left town, devoured a baguette in the parking lot, then began rationing the others as we drove home. I would drive there weekly for this bread, and I don?t usually eat bread. It is so good, even the loaf I froze and later thawed to gethome. Do not miss this Tucson treasure.
Something nostalgic and romantic about memorable bread. My French grandmother baked bread. The aroma alone was heart lifting. Nothing satisfies like warm bread and butter. Barrio Bread evokes that same feeling. The crunch of the crust. The tenderness of the crumb. The delicate richness of the flavor. We have tried nearly every type James Beard Award winner, Don Guerra bakes. It's impossible to decide a favorite. The deep complexity of the Seeded Whole Wheat and the determinedsweetness of the Apricot Cranberry are perfectly balanced. Pan Levain, perfect with a hardy soup. As I said, impossible to choose. Try them all. The line moves along quickly. Any wait is worth your time.
Amazing artisan breads. And they make awesome daily breads that you can only get on certain days.
Best bread in the world! Always worth the wait in line. (Of course you can pre-order too).
