I highly recommend Mama Assunta's as a fantastic local restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I would rate the service, food, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5. Some recommended dishes to try are the lasagna, Chicken Marsala, salad, shrimp risotto, bruschetta, saltimbocca, and polenta sfritta. The price per person ranges from $50 to $100 for dinner.

Bread was good, pasta was al dented not mushy. Two pasta dishes at our table had too much sauce! But not the orrechiete with broccoli rabe sausage . It was tasty had a perfect amount of ingredients. Salad was served with entrees. Decor is a little dated, but place was full on a Saturday night. Worth a visit! Came here for dinner one night, and have to say that I was very impressed with the food. It’s very unassuming given its location tucked away in a mini mall. The pasta is amazing and very fresh. Service is very friendly they brought food in a timely manner. Atmosphere was nice it’s straddled between being a casual and fancy Italian restaurant. Outdoor seating got a little bit noisy towards the end of the evening. I have been a customer at this restaurant for nearly three decades. I was shocked when I discovered that the menu had been completely revamped. I don't understand why they would change a successful formula. The food was still delicious, but it wasn't quite what I had anticipated. I hope they bring back some of the classics.
