Pinchgut Pies - Trussville

The menu didn’t indicate that this dish was spicy at all. I quickly called the restaurant back, and a woman who claimed to be a supervisor told me that the chef might not have followed the recipe correctly. She promised that I would receive a refund within three days, and I hope that happens because I was really upset about spending $9.25 on food that I couldn’t even eat. I cannot handle spicy food, and this tasted as if someone had dumped a whole bottle of pepper or Tabasco sauce into the meat.

The restaurant is clean and situated in a fun location, but the pizza was disappointing. The cheese pizza was overly greasy, leaving the buffalo bacon ranch with a raw crust. The spinach topping seemed to be made with old, spoiled mushrooms. The vegan cheese pizza was acceptable, but unfortunately, it made me feel unwell later that day.

I visited the restaurant on a weekday for an afternoon dinner and some beer. The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. I had nearly completed my meal before the bartender inquired if I wanted another drink or anything else. While I understand that it was a quieter time for the bar/restaurant, I couldn't help but feel overlooked as the staff members stood around chatting instead of checking in with customers. I don't expect lengthy conversations while they work, but they could certainly make an effort to check on guests more frequently.

Our favorite pizza spot. we always loved pizza, but never really scratched it. but we have to get a crunch at least once a month. When I first saw the Uncle Buck, I thought it sounded strange and wasn't too excited about it, but once I had it, it had attached us.

Kind of a mixed bag. The cheese pizza was amazing- great classic cheese... which is what I had while sitting the first time with a friend at Ferus prompting a pickup order for the family.We got a supreme and it severely lacked. The toppings weren't spread out at all- some areas had one topping and others had a ton. After we rearranged the pizza it was pretty good but the dough was very tough.The cheese bread were nothing like the picture- very flat and doughy/tough.This pizza also is not good reheated... I mean, still pizza just not goodAll in all it's okay, just get cheese and eat fresh. It's too pricey to do it otherwise.
