Panera Bread - Troy

The food was overpriced and terrible. The bread was so hard it could be used as a blowtorch.

The bread is impressive, but it's best to arrive early to ensure you can get some, as they usually have plenty in stock. However, it can get quite chaotic later in the afternoon. There are occasional issues with the ordering system; sometimes, the software inexplicably removes items from the menu, which means you'll need to ask about them in person.

Troy really needs a Panera that’s open to the public. I tried to order online for pickup, but I was told it’s only available to RPI students. Is there any chance I could get a discount on school taxes for purchasing food from an already overpriced chain that restricts sales to students?

Generally high-quality offers for what you get. They always seem to be out of something when I go there, like the pickled onions or bread... They are Panera BREAD, how do they regularly run out of bread?!

Very good customer service here. I ordered the tuna Salad sandwich. Since it was not up on the menu I did not realize it came with a different type of bread than my wife was used to. I pulled back around to let them know I made a mistake by not telling them to use sourdough bread. They didn?t charge me for the fixed sandwich.
