Fernandez - Triacastela

The your not from around here are you is alive and well and living in Bar Fernandez. Granted, it was early and breakfast but the local weirdos seemed attracted to the place-a bit discomfiting. Food was OK. Not much of a choice in Triacastella for breakfast.

Really good coffee offered with tapas. Friendly and efficient service. Nice place to sit inside or outside. Welcoming ambience for locals and peregrinos. Great prices.

They had the best fried pork chops ever! And the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The wine comes from the local region and is very good. Good Galician cooking.

Honest food for a honest price. The croquetas were outstanding, the rest was good enough. Great service. It looked more like a bar than a restaurant, though. It was a nice meal after a hard day.

Had lunch here. Food and service were very good. Comfortable environment. Many locals which I feel added positively to the atmosphere
