It is perhaps fair to start by saying that this is not sophisticated dining but, on the first day of a holiday with a group of friends that was not what we were looking for The restaurant is actually a marquee by the lake,a pleasant...locationAs it was not very warm we thought this might be a bit chilly but in fact the tent is heated and was very comfortable.The staff were welcoming and friendly and up for a bit of banter. We ordered and our starters arrived quite quickly. They were enormous but all adjudged very good.Something called a brick a sort of spicy prawn , potato and spicy filo wrapped thing went down particularly well. For mains most of us had entrecôte or lamb steaks.These were all very good except one which was clearly undercooked;to the staff's great credit they acknowledged this straight away. I asked them to put the steak back under the grill but everything was cooked again from the start and the replacement was perfect. We ordered the smallest steaks which were much larger than anticipated. I understand the proprietor is Tunisian.Unfortunately some of the Tunisian dishes were not available In giving this a score I can see why some people might give this a four but to my mind any minor shortcomings were made up for by the excellent customer friendly staff. We also really enjoyed the evening.So it's a five

We visit Cote TI Plage many times during the season (April-September). We are always warmly welcomed by Carole Olivier who are the perfect hosts. At my birthday lunch last year,they presented me with a beautiful flowering plant! The food is excellent, from the delicious...Gambas (my favourite) to succulent leg of lamb steaks, juicy faux filet steak, magret de canard with fig jus tasty,spicy seafood dishes. Last night, of us met for our dinner there of the season had a wonderful evening, in the beautiful,lakeside setting.We look forward to many more visits over the next months.
