Contribuiți la feedbackThings started out promising and service appeared professional. Ordered food for the 2 adults and 2 children with no problems. I ordered the Entrecôte and that was as tough as old boots. I asked for mustard and it never arrived. Instead as I finished the waiter apologised for forgetting. I told him the steak was tough and he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. We asked for the bill 3 times and it never arrived. So we got up and walked out only to find two other parties also waiting so we joined the queue. Eventually we paid and left. For a restaurant where prices are steep, you expect good quality food and service. No chance! Would not revisit unless the chef is replaced and the staff get a wake up call.
We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of an acquaintance. What a surprise! Lovely welcome from the lone server. Trendy decor. Quietly playing jazz-style music. Fabulous food! Great wine! As the restaurant filled up with chattering diners, the atmosphere buzzed! Would highly recommend.
Food was not as requested! After asking for correction of the mistake the steak was taken back only to be returned boiled and still very under cooked.... we then asked the manager why this is not being resolved and she said she would get the chef to respond... after 15 minutes another supposed manager came and told us he was the son of the owner Jean Patrice who had a terrible attitude and told us nothing was wrong and to pay and leave immediately... never going back ... customer service of the young Jean Patrice is terrible... he should not be in the restaurant world !!!
Great value for money Two 3 course menus+two 2 course menus+1 rose bottle for 130 euros. Cuisine is refined with fresh products, but of course this is not an out of the freezer restaurant with 50 available meals... Family restaurant within the same family for the 6th generation. Yes service is slow due to the current workforce shortage, particularly in rural areas, but they do their best. Give it a shot, and take your time! :
I know the words France and Customer service never really go well together, but this restaurant takes the biscuit! An evening meal booked for 4 people for 19.00 our experience following: 1. A bottle of water arrived after about 30 minutes 2. After another 30 minutes our orders were taken 3. Quickly followed by some aperitif s and some freebie dishes. 4. Around about 8.40 our starters arrived. 5. Around about 9.30 our mains arrived 6. 10.15 our desserts arrived. 7. The bill was asked for about 10.30. 8. Bill took another 15 minutes to arrive, 9. 10.50 we left. So if you have all night to wait and want terrible service La Brasserie is the place for you.
