Old Mission Tavern - Traverse City

I absolutely love their prime rib—it's everything prime rib should be! It's just as good as the restaurant on Long Lake, but at a much lower price. The only difference is that they serve mashed potatoes here instead of a baked potato. There are plenty of other delicious entrees on the menu that are worth trying as well. The cocktails are reasonably priced, and the service is outstanding. Plus, they serve warm homemade bread straight from the oven, which is a nice touch. Don’t miss the brownie sundae—it's enormous and delicious! While the decor might feel a bit worn, the overall experience is fantastic!

This is a fantastic spot for dinner on the peninsula! The crab cakes were outstanding, and both the food and atmosphere were really enjoyable. The service was excellent—Lilly was truly professional. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to others!

They take reservations and we had a lovely meal here. The whitefish dip was very tasty and whitefish entrees were cooked to perfection. The prime rib was also a hit. The atmosphere is cool too, lots of wall art to look at and buy if interested. Will beback for the yummy food if I?m in the area next time.

Had an early dinner there before Sheryl Crow on Saturday. Our first time here, we sat outside on the deck (they do have two small decks for outdoor seating in total can probably sit 4 tables of 4). The food was fantastic. Started with the whitefish dipand escargot. We each ordered something different: cherry bbq ribs and walleye rockefeller were delicious. Cute little place,nice bar area, would definitely go back.
