LOCATION: we ate in a courtyard under a beautiful pergola covered with vine. table arranged in a simple way, but perfectly in. style with the place. for me, we happened in a weird night. because we were the only guests while in another room there was a birthday of people, therefore the waiters were very busy, but to us always celeri and available. here is a positive judgment. MENU: and still let the chef bring wine, acuì, bread and immediately a round of phenomenal mythical appetizers (mozzarella with shoots, salad of octopus, octopus carpaccio, primoslale with orange jam, tunisin aubergines). after the right time of two photos in the courtyard arrive the first: a busiata to norcine (stemmed with meat and sausage, mushrooms and peas) really divine and in exorbitant quantities to follow a ravioli of cernia and pumpkin. con. sugo to the narrow cernia (perhaps. one of the best fish ever tasted). A fantastic group lunch with many appetizers, couscous, pasta , wine, and olive oil ice cream. All was preceded by an olive oil sting which was good. Great olives.
Excellent ingredients, cooked superbly. We ate with friends and shared our starters 'tapas ' style. Their is no set menu but each day the chef and proprietor Collete put together 6/7 starters and 5/6 main courses with 3 puddings fruit. A great example of fine rustic Sicilian cuisine.
Great people with great local cusine run by French. The place receives Michelin recommendations every year since 2008. Worth going offroad!
We stopped by for an olive oil tasting and lunch, which became one of the best meals we had on our trip to Sicily. The staff was very warm and hospitable. The food was incredible, very authentic Sicilian cuisine and so fresh. This is a must-do if travelling in the area.
