Beautiful Pumpkin pie, I tried the Asian Duck pie also really lovely, and really tasty well cooked Portuguese Custard Tarts ????

Best bakery, all baked by Jon at the bakery. Bread beautiful, pies - so many varieties & scrumptious ... everything we have ever had from here is fantastic.

OK, this isn't some sort of Rolls Royce dining experience, it's a small town country bakery. But for all that it's a good stopping point as both locals and people passing through are customers so they must be doing something right!Open on weekends this little bakery has the usual selection of various types of pie and sausage roll and some small baked items such as caramel slice for those after a sugar hit. You can eat inside or you can stroll across the road to a nice little undercover picnic area with a childrens playground, amenities and a few boards of local history thrown in for good measure so the location is good.Well worth a quick stop off if you are passing through.

Stopped off for a quick lunch in Thorpdale at this beaut and busy bakery. Nicely decked out eating area, great display of bread, cakes and slices but for me its all about the pies - and there was a nice big hot cabinet full of them ! As always had the plain meat pie with sauce. Sat outside under the verandah and enjoyed the view to the park across the street. Pie was nice and hot, good colour to the pastry, which held its shape. Filling was rich, tasty and flavoursome. This pie was a winner.Nice location too. Would definitely come back.

Always on the lookout for a good pie, we stopped in here today. We ordered a lamb and rosemary pie, and an Asian Duck one and a sausage roll. We cut all in half to share. Duck had lots of good sized chunks of meat but was WAY to sweet, if I didn't know I'd ordered lamb and rosemary, I wouldn't have known what I was eating. A little shredded meat in a lot of gravy. Pies pastry was very good but I was happy I didn't have a whole one of either to eat!. The sausage roll was excellent. Service was very good and the place is comfortable, but since we went for the pies, I wouldn't go back and risk not enjoying another couple.
