Morwell Bowling Club

This club seems to get a facelift of some type every year or so. that being said, get out of the house and experience this ever expanding club located south of Morwell. Lots of Pokies, State of art bowls greens and the restaurant/bistro. Good food with generous serves. Price $ - $$

Went here for a family function (engagement).. venue was clean.. food served was fresh, sandwiches were delicious, the finger food was hot..

Last week I had a chicken schnitzel when I was out to lunch with two other women. My meal could only be described as mediocre at best although the two other meals at our table were OK. My chicken cost me $20 and was so thoroughly cooked there was no taste left in it. Not only was the outside crust 'crusty' the chicken inside matched. It'll be a while before I go backI have to admit I've had some decent meals here but this one was a waste of money.

A very presentable club, modern decor, large car park. The staff were pleasant but while our kids meals came out quickly, we had to wait over half an hour for our burger and Parma. This may have been understandable if the venue was busy but we were the first guests for the evening. When the Parma did arrive it was over cooked. The accompanying salad was small not overly appealing.

"The Bowls Club" a fantastic supporter of local sporting club's. The meals are good with a large range, Chinese is awesome but only on the menu when that chef works. It is pub type meals. The bistro has just had a make over! The function room caters for all your needs. If your into the Pokies they are there too. Bare foot bowling is a lot of fun. All in all a great club to visit.
