Always good, never soggy. Made and delivered quickly. If you like sandwiches, this is the place.
I am very picky about hoagies since I am originally from back East. I have lived on the peninsuala and now in Tracy. The Mr. Pickles franchise has it all right, no matter the location, I can count on my Italian sandwich bringing me back to the flavors of an East Coast Italian deli hoagie. THANK YOU!!!
I love Mr. Pickles where I 'm from but Tracy location is so sub par that a pre packaged deli sandwich from the grocery store would be far superior. I had 1 good order a couple years ago but subsequent orders were so terrible I 've given up on them. On a previous order we received 2 sandwiches and both were missing many requested ingredients and included ingredients that I requested be kept off. The avocado they put on both sandwiches was so brown that neither of us would eat ours...they looked like 2 day old leftovers. They did remember to put on the cranberry sauce last time but I had to deconstruct the sandwich to find it and when i did, it looked more like they just wiped a knife off on the bread that had cranberry residue on it...a barely perceptible pink wash skipped over just the center of the bread. This would be disappointing even if it were an included condiment but I paid a significant amount extra. There was roughly the same amount of mustard and mayo so saying it was dry is an understatement. After a long time I decided to give them another shot when we wanted a cold fresh dinner on a very hot day hoping it was a once off bad experience last time, but it was an equal disappointment. The Dutch Crunch roll was stale and flat (it tasted and looked like bread that hadn 't risen and the corner of my husbands sandwich roll was so hard it couldn 't be bitten through. The turkey on my Big Jake was breaking down (what!! and had the look and texture of shredded tuna. I took some turkey out of my sandwich to inspect it after feeling the mushy texture in my mouth and it easily fell apart between my fingers... so after eating less than 1/4 of it I couldn 't eat anymore after seeing the meat. Both bad experiences were within 45 minutes of closing so maybe they don 't bother to restock the counter with fresh ingredients and instead try to sell off the remaining ingredients toward the end of the night. However, I 'm not going to waste $14 a sandwich to try again. I should be able to order a fresh sandwich regardless of closing time anyway. I 'm so disappointed that my favorite sandwich chain is so terrible where I live. I gave 2 stars because I had 1 good sandwich from here before and they didn 't forget any ingredients this last time, but after throwing away 3 out of 4 sandwiches from 2 orders I think 2 stars is more than generous.
Best Listen Linda sandwich ever!!! Turk and avocado is my favorite!
