Thai Cafe - Tracy

1st time customer, got the food to go and it was not a good experience. Ordered Beef Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and sauteed broccoli, mushroom garlic. Maybe I just don't like Thai food at all. The beef pieces were cut along the grain...which made them impossible to chew. The chicken was also cut along the grain. Makes the pieces very tough to chew. The vegetable dish was tolerable. Will not be returning. The staff was very polite. I don't think the AC was working, very stuffy and warm in the restaurant. I know times are tough, but when you spend your hard earned dollars, you want it be worth while.

I got the chicken pad thai. The chicken was dry and tasteless. It was hot and inside did not have A/C. I'll pass on this for next time.

Got food to go and I was very satisfied with the food! I forgot what exactly did my husband get but I enjoyed everything. The ice thai was pretty well made... I'm looking forward to trying this restaurant out again but dine in. I didn't give five stars because I have to see how the customer service is but food, so far so good! See you again Thai Cafe.

Ordered the crispy veggie spring rolls, pad see ew and thai tea off of doordash. The spring rolls were crispy and came with a spicy peanut sauce which was good and the usual sweetened chili sauce. The pad see ew needed a LOT more flavoring, it was very bland with a hint of spice. My friends got the pad thai and fried rice. Pad thai needed more flavor and was dry, and the fried rice was decent, had a good texture and was not overcooked but still lacking flavor. Thai tea was good, they have the little circle ice here which is nice. Overall, not happy with the lack of flavor and will not be coming back here unfortunately. Not sure if the food is seasoned for the demographic in Tracy, but coming from the Bay Area I was not impressed.

OK. We keep trying and things are definetly better. Delicious food, dining atmosphere is a bit more pleasing, but still things aren't somewhat put away and out of sight. The food is delicious and staff are great! We have returned!
