Food was left sitting outside the front yard gate. No message or call on arrival of delivery person to notify food was delivered.
Had Sesame Chicken, General Tso's chicken, and kung pao chicken. All fresh, hot, and so delicious.
I used to consider this my favorite Chinese Restuarant, the food was good with a broad variety of Asian cuisines. I got my entire office to order here, whenever we were looking for delivery that wasn't pizza. However, in the last year, they have become incredibly inconsistent. In the last couple of months, I repeatedly ordered and found that it was less frequently the quality that I had come to expect. On a couple of occasions, the food seemed old; I often ordered late at night, so I was not sure if it had just been sitting in warmers most of the day, or if it had been made the day before. This was most frequently in question with the lo mein. The flavor of the sauces also seemed to have some variation, usually with the level of heat in the spicier dishes. I had been mentally writing a review and was thinking that it would be 4 stars, but only barely able to achieve that mark. I was waiting to see if they turned things around and this was just a bad patch... Most recently, I bought food for my mother's birthday because I insisted that the Chinese food in this area was far better than hers, and I knew a place that she would love. I had a lot of things to do before I left, so I ordered delivery and figured that it would be here about the time I was ready to leave. They are 13 16 minutes from me, and given it was lunch time by a mall, moderately smooth traffic, so I imagine around 15 minutes. The order was at my door in 19 minutes. I had not realized just how badly that added up at the time, especially since I was busy getting ready to go. My mother excitedly opened the containers to heat up, and called me over to look at the consistency of the lo mein. The plastic fork had broken off when she tried to fish out noodles, so she used a standard fork, but the noodles had glued to each other in a way that we had never seen before. We had to cut a square out to plate up. I grabbed a piece of chicken from the box before putting it on the plate and adding sauce, and the breading was wet while the chicken was chewy. The Szechuan green beans lacked body, simultaneously limp and dry, and worse had no szechuan sauce, it appeared to be a large quantity of crushed garlic and maybe some oil, but I was not sure.... After we heated up our food (cold or microwaved Chinese is a well known quantity with us and we know what to expect), the lo mein had kind of... melded together. It was so overcooked that it just had become greasy, flavorless, mush with a strange texture. The beef was too chewy for human teeth. The breaded chicken from the sweet and sour chicken was hard and dry. The szechuan green beans had a garlic sauce with so much garlic it burned my mouth. My mother called to complain, but she did not even finish telling the manager what was wrong with the meal before he cut her off and started talking about green beans in garlic sauce. He insisted that is what I ordered and when she corrected him and told him the order was szechuan green beans, he again insisted that i had told them to use garlic sauce, instead of szechuan sauce. I had to interject at that point, and told him i had a receipt that clearly stated my order; the manager argued that it was labled that way because i contacted them with a special request. I made the order online. This was the first time I had talked to anyone in the restaurant in about a year. We never even got to the point where we discussed the fact that we had clearly been served old food that was microwaved to order.TL;DR: Restuarant has gone so far down hill that mall Chinese food is more fresh. In an order of sweet and sour chicken, beef lo mein, szechuan green beans, and shrimp eggrolls, only the egg rolls did not have the taste and texture of food cooked a day prior and microwaved prior to ordering. The 4min or less prep time supports this theory. management is rude and can not accept the possibility of a mistake being made.
Food is very good but last night I did not get one of the items I paid for
