Simply Tops Seafood Bar - Townsville

To be able to sit outside on a warm NQ night and eat some of the best seafood we have tasted was a huge treat . Add to this the people watching in Palmer street and the experience just got better. What a great way to relax after a very busy day.

This fish and chips are not cheap, if you dine in the price goes up i found , its clean and you can have a drink and is nice setting by the river, food has got a bit better but must said I had better, Yes I will return if I want quick eat

Looking for something quick and easy as a takeaway dinner, I chose Simply Tops. Nice and clean and friendly staff. I had the fish and chips, crunchy batter and chips, cooked to order so was fresh and piping hot.

After a DISGUSTING inedible room service delivery at the nearby Rydges I made my to this fish and chip shop. There were lots of people already eating and a long line to order. The line moved quickly though and as an added bonus they sell alcohol to enjoy with your meal or while you wait for takeaway. My Fishermans basket was out of this world. Fresh, delicious, the best! I actually couldn't finish it all, the portion was huge. A blessing in disguise for Rydges to have such rotten food.

Lots of offers to choose from, the fish was really tasty, nice salad presented, wine BYO if wanted. Good outlook, busy part of Palmer Street, really felt like we were part of the scene. Staff very helpful with suggestions for food and places to visit.
