Newsplus Cafe - Townsville

Absolutely bizarre location but don't judge a book by its cover. The coffee is sensational.The service is fantastic too. Easily the best in Townsville. Been 3 times this week and won't hesitate to go back.

An unlikely find judging by the outside; this cafe come newsagent was a welcomed find. A small yet passionate operation serving easily the best coffee in Townsville and the only place to stock Tim Adams blend (a boutique roasters from Coloundra). It's now the only place I go for a coffee in Townsville.

Popped in for a simple snack, service was pleasant and choice quite simply but easy for takeaway lunch/snack. Advantage of having lotto, groceries, stationery to purchase. For lunch on the run - recommend

I visited the restaurant on a Wednesday for lunch and ordered the fish and chips lunch special. The meal also included a side salad.

I am a bit confused by the high rating of this place. We had dinner here on Friday after seeing the 4.5 star rating.
