Figtree Cafe On Gregory - Townsville

I went to Figtree Cafe around 12:30pm for coffee and cake. The price was good and the coffee was fine. However, the muffin that came with the cake and coffee deal was reheated in the microwave for too long, causing it to become steamed and awful.

It was lovely to witness an older gentleman named Dav come into the restaurant for his morning coffee. The staff not only brought his coffee to him, but also took the time to inquire about his well-being and compliment his appearance. It was heartwarming to see how much he enjoyed the conversation. As he departed, all the staff bid him farewell with a smile. It was truly wonderful to see a younger group of individuals working in the restaurant who displayed such great respect towards the elderly. :)

The service at the restaurant was good, but the Matcha Tea and Hot Chocolate were lacking in flavor and tasted mostly like warm milk. The breakfast was decent but nothing particularly outstanding, with the homemade baked beans being a nice touch.

Had read some negative reviews but thought we would give it ago because of there emergency & defence discounts. The cafe was very nice, we seated ourself's outside ordered coffees, eggs benny and the waffles everything come out very quick food was great my mega flat white 500-600ml was a little weak for my taste but nice partners iced latte Was nice tasted like it was made with syrup though

We had a great coffee, pulled pork roll and steak sandwich, service was good, and we could sit on the terrace with our dogs, no complaints at all
