Pier Restaurant and Bar

We had a great meal here. Plenty of selection and good service. The Steak was beautiful, as were the bugs and prawns. We all enjoyed our meals.

We decided to head here for lunch and had a nice table near the window. The service was slow despite there being very few people there. I had the barramundi and hubby a burger. The live music was nice and the food was nice.

Special. Pier has a great location with lovely views. It's relaxed but dress up if you wish. Not cheap but superb , interesting seafood and good wine.

We flew into Sydney and drove up to Townsville and this is the best food we've had. Hands down. Make a reservation because it's very popular!

My family and I dined on a Friday night and the restaurant was fully booked. We were lucky enough be seated on the back deck overlooking the marina. Could not have asked for more of a beautiful outlook - watching the boats on the marina.The service was friendly and very efficient. They could pay a little more attention to detail such as ensuring oyster folk is served with oysters and when sharing dishes serving cutlery is provided. It's just the little things that make a huge difference. We started with Oysters, natural and Kirkpatrick which were delicious. Very fresh and tasty and I think they were the best oysters I've had for years. The main I selected was chicken wrapped in prosciutto which was juicy and also very delicious.Overall a wonderful evening and the revived pier and can't want to return.
