A Touch of Salt - TOWNSVILLE CITY

It is very hard to write this review as our evening at A Touch of Salt was flawless. The food was outstanding, would not be shamed in NYC. The wait person was professional, knowledgable and of very good humour. The ambience was as warm as a comfortable stately home but totally unpretentious. The potato gnochi, duck and lamb were superb but make sura you leave room for desert! In short an all round wonderful experience.

Such a wonderful restaurant to celebrate a birthday. From the moment one steps through the front door to when departing a warm ambience envelopes one. One feels very welcome, professional, engaging staff, a brilliant menu, food to die for and not overly priced. Could dine there daily and certainty happy to recommend to friends and visitors.

Pork had excellent flavour but was a bit chewy. Fish and beef was very tasty. Dessert was amazing. Recommend trying the macadamia tart. Staff were very friendly and made for a comfortable atmosphere. Cheers

Fabulous night, the food was excellent and we were very impressed that Tammy's desert had Happy Birthday written on it, we didn't ask this but i believe it was from the attention of the staff who saw the presents being given. Thank you

We dined in a group of 4 and the hardest decision was what to choose with a fantastic selection to suit each one of us! This place never fails to live up to its reputation as Townsville's go to for fine dining. My favorite place!
