Townsend Pancake House

My husband and I are locals, we live in Blount county not Townsend. We were very disappointed with the service. We had been seated for twenty minutes before anyone approached our table, it was not our server but another employee. We spent another 20 minutes waiting to place our order. I know the place was busy. There was some waitresses helping other waitresses but no one helped ours. After speaking with the dining room manager we waited another twenty minutes. We had gotten up to leave when our waitress brought out our food which by the looks of it the toast was more like warm bread. She looked me in the eye and lied to me about ‘placing ’ our order. We observed every table around us and noticed that there was three times the turnover while we waited. I have waited tables and know what is expected of the wait staff. We wanted to patronize a local business but was extremely disappointed. I told our waitress that we were locals and would be sure to tell all of our families and friends what kind of service we received. I really don’t like to air any grievances but to look a customer in the eye and boldly lie is over the top. Had she said she had forgotten to place our order I would had been ok with the issue. We are also very generous tippers and would have left a 35-40% (of the bill) for her. Please rectify the matter. People who deal with the public should always be honest. The only question now is: How would a visitor to the area would have felt? 10/01/2023

1 hour wait for pancakes, eggs, Burger, home fries, french fries, Bacon, and french toast. Food came out cold, sunnyside eggs were popped, and the homefries and hashbrowns were green. Burger was hard like a hockey puck, french toast was soggy, french fries were burnt, and service was horrible. Our server only came up to us at the beginning when we sat down, and went to hang out with her grandchildren. NEVER got any refills on drinks, or our server never checked on us for the 1 hour long wait for our food. The other servers were rude and ignored us when we attempted to grab their attention. Our table was dusty and sticky, the bathrooms were disgusting, and overall the establishment was a catastrophe. The long waits for the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge pancake houses are better than dining at this establishment due to this establishments horrible environment, service, and food.

Waited for over hour for meal. Finally had to get owner to ask what was going on. He informed us we were still 5 tickets back. Our server never came to give refills on our drinks. Worse service and hospitality I have ever had NEVER going back. We got up and left. Surprisingly that didn't make us pay for the coffee we got buy never got refilled

This roadside Pancake House is an excellent place for breakfast and they have it all! Something delicious for everyone!

We found this great little place on our way home from our trip to sevierville. What brought us there was that it was dog friendly. We had nice outdoor seating. Our waiter was super friendly and welcoming. Great food and even better service! Our Lola was well loved by staff as well and they brought her water.
