Little River Pub And Deli - Townsend

This is the best restaurant in Townsend without a doubt. The service is friendly and the food is exceptional. I especially enjoy dining in the outdoor seating area.

We stopped in for lunch after visiting Tuckaleechee Caverns and had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. We chose to sit on the patio by the river/creek and enjoyed the light breeze. The Blackberry Moonshine cocktail was light and refreshing. The BBQ nachos were delicious, with a flavorful cheese sauce and moonshine BBQ sauce topping the tender pork. The creamy and rich cheese sauce was a highlight, especially since we opted to skip the jalapeños. The Wendy Lou sandwich was full of flavor, with crispy grilled bread that elevated it from a typical cold sandwich. The Hot Wendy sandwich was also delicious, with buffalo flavor and a medium level of spice. I tried the daily special - Cranberry Chicken salad served on lettuce with tomato and onion, and it was excellent. The chicken salad would be just as good as a sandwich, but I enjoyed it on a bed of lettuce. It paired well with the chips too. The staff was friendly and the service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice lunch experience.

I happened to stumble upon this restaurant while driving through to Gatlinburg and I'm so glad we decided to stop and give it a try! The Panini's were absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was very relaxed, and Katherine did an amazing job taking care of us. Our drinks were always full (they have a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails) and she made sure to check on us frequently even though she was the only server during a busy lunch rush. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. And the pineapple upside down cake was even better than my Grandma's!!! I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant for lunch. I had lunch at this restaurant and the price per person was between $10 and $20. The food was excellent, I would rate it a 5. However, the service was lacking, I would rate it a 2. The atmosphere was nice, I would rate it a 4. I highly recommend trying the Moonshine BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos, Moonshine BBQ Pork Nachos, and Lil' Corn Doggies.
