Unfortunately, the food was all burnt, dry, and overly salty. Some of our orders for Italian potatoes were missing because they claimed they were out of them. The bread and butter did come with the entrees, though. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
And last but definitely not least, there’s Ashley. Wow! She was honestly one of the best servers we’ve ever encountered. I’m not exaggerating; you can check my review history if you want to confirm—I’ve never said that about anyone else. We’ve experienced all kinds of service, from dreadful to outstanding, and she stands at the very top. From now on, we will definitely be requesting her service specifically.
Our experience at the restaurant was unfortunately quite disappointing. Every piece of silverware we received was dirty, and the plates had old food stuck to them. The couple sitting next to us decided to cancel their order after waiting for an hour. Instead of a proper response, the assistant manager rudely told them to leave and never return. Additionally, our waitress's attire was inappropriate for the setting. The window from our table to the kitchen was in dire need of cleaning, looking like it hadn't been touched in years.
Very busy for holiday weekend, but service was very good. The food was great! Our server checked with us often, even though she was quite busy.Food: 5/5
As a previous long-time resident of St. Louis, I had forgotten about prior favorite pizza places in St. Louis. In town this week for a family visit, and someone suggested Massa 's in Town and Country. My prior visits years ago were at the Bridgeton location The Old Place. All the family now lives in St. Chas County, so Massa 's Town and Country was closest. Walking in the door, memories came flooding back! The place even smells great! The Italian salad was served in an ice cold bowl, the house dressing delicious, the small was HUGE! We tried a chicken and black olive pizza, the The Tony sausage, bacon, onions and tomatoes. Both pizzas were great, perfect St. Louis-style thin crust, cooked perfectly, with a creamy blend of mozzarella and provolone cheeses. Clearly still on top of their game at Massa 's. I 'll be back more often!
