El Capitan - Torredembarra

A great lunch today, probably our best meal in Spain on this trip. The menu del dia had good fish options…we both have to be gluten free and they could cater for that and I had fresh pineapple for dessert. 3 courses including a bottle of house wine, bread and water with a couple of cafe solo to finish €44. We were planning on a trip to Taragona tomorrow before moving on but very tempted to change plans and return

We've eaten here twice now and both times it was very good. The 19€ menu del dia has limited options 3 starters and 3 mains but it's freshly made and well presented and the bottle of light local wine with it was perfect with the food. We were on the terrace which is airy and bright. Service was friendly and attentive.

One of the best meals we had in Torredembarra. The 4 course menu del dia priced at 23 euros was excellent value (included a bottle of wine) food was all super high quality and very prompt service.

Muy buena experiencia. La comida es deliciosa. Probamos el menú de fin de semana y es muy completo. Incluye bebida y postre. Hay tres platos: entrante, primero, segundo y postre. Para el segundo plato debes elegir entre dos opciones. Si os parece un poco limitado, podéis escoger a la carta. En nuestro caso, nos decidimos por el menú y quedamos encantados. Se nota el cariño y la dedicación de la cocina y de la sala. Muy recomendable.

Muy buena experiencia con un menú a 31 euros en fin de semana. Buena comida y raciones generosas en primera línea de la playa de Torredembarra.
