Contribuiți la feedbackBad service. The manager and his employees throw away the food we asked to be packed, and wasted our time waiting for a long time over an hour to replace the meal, but they never brought our departure to us. We had to go without the decision and waste our time and money. Cost-effective evening ruined by bad service.
A friend who lives near Danforth Avenue and I was looking for a place to meet and have a bite. A few articles on the online menu caught our attention: a Wednesday special with an 8 ounce burger with a page for $8 and a personal favorite dish – lamb. When we arrived, we were informed that the Burger-Special had been dropped because the restaurant was, good, losing money on it, and lamb was deleted from the menu, replaced by a pork stable (depending on I ordered a pork stable in a Toronto restaurant, it has exhibited the taste and texture of shoe leather and beef short rib. (Memo to all restaurateurs: PLEASE KEEP YOUR DAMN WEBSITES UP to DATE!!! I ordered the cattle short nativity. The “short rib” consisted of perhaps an ounce and a half of minced meat coating a small bowl Rigatoni. (Staff usually seemed confused and seemed to fight to provide clear information about the menu Maybe $2 value of ingredients for $24. Not even Robert Irvine would advise or forgive such an excessive and cynical pricing strategy. I know that independent restaurants in Toronto have had a hard time during the pandemic and many are looking for ways to paddle their profit margins to pay debts incurred during the lockdown. Nothing but prepared me for this stunning lack of money. A great disappointment.
New owners and even better! Morgans has always been a real pleasure at the “other” end of Danforth, east of Greektown. What was warm and friendly is now more elegant an adult. Wednesday night is half price Burger night, but this is not the burgers of Morgan's past. Elegant, raised with hand-cut pommes and aioli. I am convinced that this is the best burger on the Danforth, with an increasingly demanding menu and vibe. Excellent service. Cocktail specialties and Kolsch on Hahn. My old well maintained place is now my new popular adult dining area. Thanks new owners! Very recommended!
Spent by a tree, we welcomed the opportunity for outdoor eating. The service was very attentive. Cyclists through the cycle paths straight the other side of the plants. Shoes with French fries were perfectly crispy and hot. A very generous part of the halibut made my... delicious sandwich. The Brie and Avocado sandwich was also enjoyed. A beautiful place to fuel at Canada Day.
I dont understand the hype. It is a nice place but it gets busy and loud. Food is average but service is very fiendly. My steak was so so. But they have a great selections of beers from all over the world. Good belgian beers.
