Boo Radley's - Toronto

The food is average, but the service is exceptional. The burgers lack flavor and are bland. The atmosphere is quite nice.

This menu has changed and is apparently being improved again in a couple of days. Food is great and the owners couldn't be nicer.

Nash recently relocated to a few blocks west of his previous location, opening up a whole new area for us to explore when it comes to food. Our first choice was a charming spot named Boo Radley's, which takes its name from the mysterious character in To Kill a Mockingbird. The menu features a variety of classic comfort dishes, such as the Pulled Pork Sandwich I enjoyed, along with a side of Cream of Asparagus Soup. Nash opted for the special of the day: jerk tilapia with blueberry salsa, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Despite the familiar offerings on the menu, the unique special stood out and truly impressed us. The fish was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, with the seasoning and salsa enhancing its taste. We couldn't resist trying the dessert of the day, a French toast bread pudding with ice cream, and it was so delicious that we wished we had ordered another one. Boo Radley's has definitely earned a spot as our new favorite hangout spot.

It’s interesting that they have familiar things on the menu but offered such an interesting special that night! The fish was tender, moist and delicious and I loved the seasoning. Even the salsa was very good.<br/ <br/ We couldn’t resist the dessert of the day, a French toast bread pudding with ice cream. We shared one but we sort of wish we got two because we licked the bowl clean!<br/ <br/ This place will definitely be our new regular hangout!

Intent: somewhere with pub food and beer for a reasonable price.What I got: A friendly greeting  with a run down of the specials as soon as I stepped in to check it out for the 5 of us before we came in. Was sold on having the Sunday Prime Rib dinner. Was under $20 from what I can recall and a generous thick slice of perfectly cooked prime rib aside a mountain of from scratch garlic mashed potatoes. Friends with me enjoyed everything from perfect gnocchi to burgers and fries. Very refreshing pub to serve such fairly priced dishes aside fair priced beverages. They truly deserve to be busy!
