Contribuiți la feedbackI have eaten in this restaurant many times now, each time I go to Tinahely this is where I eat most of the time. Their Sunday lunch is particularly wonderful.
We were visiting the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. It didn't disappoint, I enjoyed a deep fried brie starter who doesn't love deep fried cheese! I followed this with the chicken which was delicious. Members of our group tried everything from duck to steak and everyone was happy. There was an early bird and a la carte menus to choose from. There was no problem when I asked for no mushrooms with my main course (curiously every main course on the early bird menu had mushrooms ......chef must be a fan! . Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.
Ate in Madelines Restaurant last night with a group of 8 friends everything about the night was great Elaine and her front of the house staff made us welcome and didn't rush us at all Good selection of 3 courses for €23 each dish was a perfect balance of taste (thanks Paddy) If your ever in Tinahely this is a must
We were given a menu that offered a starter, main course, and dessert for €23. However, when it came time to pay our bill, we were charged for our starter and main course as Á la carte items because we did not want dessert. This information was not indicated on the menu we received, and the waitress did not clarify this either. It is important to be aware that if you choose not to have dessert, you will be charged based on the Á la carte menu rather than the set menu price of €23. It seems absurd that in order to qualify for the set menu price, one would have to order dessert and either waste it or take it home. It was very frustrating to only learn this at the time of payment. Despite the good food, we will not be returning to this restaurant due to the disappointing billing system.
This restaurant is excellent - nice and comfortable with very friendly staff providing great service. The food was delicious and definitely worth a visit!
