Portside Restaurant & Bar - Thunder Bay

The days of the bar lounge appear to be numbered, so it's nice when you happen upon one that is quaint and is slightly upscale.

Finally. A place that can make a proper martini! 2 oz of good gin and crystal clear (stirred as it should be not shaken) always good service.

So happy to be back at Portside for breakfast. Had our wonderful server, Randy, who has brought us up to date in the last two years: Nice breakfast . Great place to breakfast.

Beautiful lunch with the ACW of St. Michael. The food was delicious. Table was nicely decorated, coffee carafe on the table, also with ice water. The staff was great. A waitress took all orders and then other people helped bring meals as there were 22 people in the room. We had reserved the room at the end of the restaurant. Not sure it has a name or not.

Our server was fast with service and we were met with warmth and smiles. The food was hot and delicious. Wonderful child-friendly atmosphere. Our baby enjoyed the interaction with our server and loved the food.
