Bistro One - Thunder Bay

Passing thru TB on a vacation road trip & stopped byVery unassuming exterior in a semi industrial localeSooo glad I went in anyway.

This was a candle lit tablecloth dining experience complete with coat check, dim lighting, fresh homemade bread, butter and roasted garlic.

Excellent place for fine dining at its finest! I started with their house Old Fashioned: best I've ever had, and I've had the best service by Brittany

The hotel is located in an industrial area. from outside there is nothing a fine restaurant. an excellent evening meal with perfect service.

First post pandemic date reservations were made for terrace sitting at the warm august evening. our waitress was a new employee and the service was excellent. my wife chose the tomatensalat and immediately knew that this would be a fabulous meal....Your salmon cooked to medium in a lobster sauce and served over a risotto was fantastic. my congnac flamed escape breast in a mushroom orange brombeersauce was tender and tasty. later we shared gateau chocolate. the menu did not indicate that there was a melted chocolate cake with homemade mocha ice cream with a celestial sauce. the evening cooled down and we left know that we would be back at future visits in the city.
