Authentic Volare Pizza - Thunder Bay

Oh yesyes! My mother was introduced to this little place by a friend of hers that took her there for lunch.

I have been coming to Hickory Hollow since I was child and have always loved the foodUnfortunately, the visit today left me with a bad impression.

Disappointing placeThe meats (pork and chicken) were very dryThe BBQ sauces were not that great- a little on the watery side.

Had an awesome dinner. Ordered the chimichanga and the poutine. The chimichanga alone would have been enough. Great food. Great service. Cool atmosphere. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended.

Tried going to the Crew for lunch with a friend of mine. After taking a few bites, the first words out of my mouth were "This is the best lunch I've eaten in my life." I've never said that before. Another friend told me I had to try the Pulled pork poutine. Amazing! Lots and lots of pulled pork, lots of fresh cheese curds and amazing gravy. The pork was to die for. It had just a bit of fat left on some of the peace's to make it amazingly tasty. It even had parts that were a bit crispy like crackle. Most of it was moist and juicy. I'm not sure if it's always this good but for me at the time, it was exactly what I was in the mood for and was truly the best tasting lunch I've every had (don't tell my wife that.) The portion size was immense and was able to finish it all. If you like poutine and pulled port, I would definitely order this :)
