Militärgarten - Thun

They serve dishes like Schnitzel or Cordon-Bleu but as well meat from the hot stone where you even can choose kangaroo. The portions are quite big and everybody got for sure enough to eat: Make sure to reserve a table for the evening when you’re a bigger group as it will be too cold to sit in the garden.

We had lunch in this characteristic room a few steps from military installations. Have a good lunch for a fair expense.

Very good food and also enough - much more, but the menus are also intended for workers. the service is simple and normal. the ambiente is normally not expecting too much.

The restaurant was very welcoming from outside with the beautiful beer garden. but eating on the afternoon was not fresh! also the older operation was very snippy and unfriendly.

While visiting thun we came across this restaurant in a garden, it seem nice and popular, food did look good so we decide to give it a try, we first ordered a coffee, then we decide to have something to eat. the food was excellent, service was good. I would recommend this place to anyone, the only bad comment are the plastic chair they should be more comfortable or have cushion. I would definitively going back there for lunch hour.
