We asked the front desk at our hotel where they recommended for supper. They directed us to Bell 720 or another restaurant. The building itself...is quite lovely. Seemed to have been renovated recently. It has a gorgeous chandelier in the center of the dinningroom and cozy bench/ booth type seating. When we were sat down the hostess forgot to give us cutlery so when our dinner came we had nothing to eat with....I had to run after the waitress and ask her. She had commented that that 's what happens when you are understaffed. Okay whatever. We tucked into our meal. Mine was the chicken parmesean. It was underwhelming. The chicken was over cooked and rubbery. The noodles where dry and the cheese on the chicken was a mix not the traditional mozza or parm that you would expect. My husband asked for a medium rare New York steak. It came with a cut in the side and was over done and then top it off it was very clearly a top sirloin and not in any way a New York. The veggies on his plate were either packed in water or prefrozen either way no flavour except for the butter they were drenched in. My daughter 's noodles were the same as the ones on my plate except for she had a meatball which she took a bite of and spat back out. We commented that this restaurant should be on Gordon Ramsay 's kitchen nightmares. I wouldn 't have minded so much because we are in small country Alberta and just coming out of Covid I know businesses are suffering a bit but we paid 89 dollars for a subpar meal. The staff were at least pleasant and the meal came reasonably quickly. To be honest I 'd rather have eaten at Pizza Hut just down the road.
My husband and I both got the Maple Salmon and it was so delicious. My husband had the mashed potato stuffed spring roll with his meal and he liked it. I had baked potato with my meal and it was good too. Our boys got,...and a I quite the best poutine I have ever had . We also ordered a side of buffalo wings which we all enjoyed. The Chocolate Cake for dessert was rich, decadent and something I will dream about long after we leave this little town. Best cake ever!
Stopped by on our way back from a golf trip in Drumheller for a bite and a pint. Food was excellent and Melanie did a great job getting us everything we needed. Burgers, soups and apples were the call and they were all excellent. The...Mushroom soup was fresh and hot. If you're ever in Three Hills it's worth the stop.
We were able to dine on Valentine's Day without a reservation and received great service. The food was excellent and we are returning again today.
I haven't been to this restaurant in three years, but I chose to celebrate my birthday there. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. My friends and I enjoyed sitting in the cozy lounge area. Our server, Lou, was attentive and it was nice to see Jackie again. I have been a regular at this restaurant for the past 10 years and once again, they delivered amazing food and service. Thank you! - Jenny
