Baldwin Saloon - The Dalles

It's one of those 1 in every 20 restaurant experiences. There are still places like this, but they are far and few between. Super cool twenties decor, but what really takes the cake here is the quality and flavor of the amazing amazing amazing food. I mean holy cow their clam chowder is amongst the top 3 I've ever tried in the United States, the truffle oil French fries almost made me cancel my trip, the shaved prime rib Philly was to die for and even the burger was more like something you wo … – show

Chicken was so tough could not be chewed. Lettuce wilted. Drink was flavorless. Miss Mark

Food was excellent. Service was fast and staff very friendly.

Polite server but food was bland no taste way to expensive and I ordered the prime rib they brought me the ribeye and when we arrived there was only two other couples there and it took over 45 minutes to get our food will not be going back

Husband loved his burger and fries. He very, very rarely likes anything that much. My burrata salad was okay. Peach cocktail was okay. Friendly and helpful staff. Wish service was a bit faster, but they were just opening so maybe not quite ready yet.
