Dickey's Barbecue Pit - The Colony

Gas station barbecue might be good for someone looking for a quick bite to eat but unfortunately this is not the same experience or the same quality as a Dickies restaurant. Don't expect any rolls or extras as they will only give out the minimal.

Baked potatoe hit the spot, mac and cheese was nice, and that spicy bbq sauce is to die for :

Rancid beans. Smelled like they were soaked in an old dish

5 stars for taste of meat. 2 stars for “ambiance”; looks dark/dingy. 1 star for plastic utensils. 1 star for “roll”….tiny, cold, tasteless. 2 stars for size of sides…..great taste but chintzy. Very poor upkeep…..light bulbs out, exterior sign looks burned, hand-written signs in window advertising other food. Terrible color/decor; looks tired/old. Franchising has ruined this once-great brand.

I ordered a chopped brisket loaded potato through uber eats and my side of sour cream was left off and I paid $2 for it and the potato was not FRESH. Everything was just thrown together. I will NOT BE BACK! I do not recommend here. They just throw your food together in a rush.
