Pizza Amici - Thasos

We started and ended our holiday at pizza amici. we found the pizza very good and naughty, which is well available with the 3 or 4 vegan pastas. good comfort food.

While I would recommend to come to pizza amici when they stay in limenaria, my friend had very hit-or-miss' experiences during eating here. in the course of the two weeks on the island we visited the pizza amici four times for lunch and dinner. Of course it is not typical Greek eating, but a bowl pasta after a day on the beach is always appreciated. there are more options than suggested in previous reviews and the young in the restaurant are happy to change any of the pasta dishes to match a vegan diet. in the restaurant start with the selection of their pasta type (rigatoni, spaghetti, penne or tortellini) and then choose their sauce. we had the following four sauces; al olio (olive oil, garlic, chilli, peppers, and olives [for them without parmesan vegan (fresh tomato, olives, capers, peppers, onion and garlic), arabta (tomato sauce chillis), and pinocio (tomato sauce, mushrooms, broccoli and artichokes). the pinocio ended as our favorite, but the second time that we ordered it, it was overcooked, underseasoned, and the pasta fell apart in the plate. one evening we also tried the vegan pizza, but the less said the better. they should better offer a marinara style pizza without the vegan cheese, as the current offer recalls a cheap asda pizza they would buy in Britain. in spite of all, the owner is a really beautiful guy and generous with his drinks. it is worth visiting if they are in the mood for something other than Greek cuisine.

Soybee on a small island like thasos is something special. pizza is okay, but not super delicious. vegan pasta was very good. also baked mushrooms with vegetables were good.
