Luna Rossa - Tewksbury

Team Blue dined at Luna Rossa and were warmly welcomed by Dave, the owner. He is incredibly friendly and personally visits each table to ensure a great experience. We started with mussels and Arancini as appetizers, both of which were delicious. The watermelon sangria and espresso martinis were outstanding as well. For our main course, we ordered a cheese pizza, which featured the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Luna Rossa has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we can't wait to return for more!

Our servers were fantastic and very personable! The food was delicious, though we definitely over-ordered because there were so many great options. When I couldn't finish my meal, the owner or manager sent the waiter to check if there was something wrong with my dish! In reality, my penne with vodka sauce, shrimp, and asparagus was incredible; I just felt too full from the appetizers and soup! Before we left, the chef or owner came by to check on us, which was a nice touch. I would rate both the food and service 5 out of 5!

I’m giving it 4 stars because we had a great experience overall. I can’t speak to the table service since we didn’t try it. However, my Margherita pizza was light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. My family enjoyed their meals as well, and the salad was fresh and crisp.

We thought a Bereavement Meal was my husband in Luna Rossa and the experience could not have been better! Not only did David and his team create a wonderful meal for over 60 people, but they could take another 30 people in the last minute without problems. As always, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Great restaurant and wonderful staff!

Excellent food, wonderful staff if I could give them 10 stars I would.
