On January 23rd, five of us came for lunch and were extremely impressed with the service and the freshly cooked, hot, generous, and delicious food. Two of us agreed that it was the best ham they had tasted in a long time. The chicken was very tender and the steak and ale pie was delicious. We also want to thank our drinks server, waiter, and the same friendly and helpful young man. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely come back. The prices were also very reasonable.

We were served delicious fresh food by the attentive Sam, who provided excellent service without us having to ask for anything. The chef also deserves compliments for the amazing dishes. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Under new ownership. This is a brilliant family friendly pub. The food was amazing and great portion sizes. Leave room for the crumble. It's amazing Staff are friendly and welcoming to new faces. I would advise you to book a table if you want a more personal type of meal setting and to avoid disappointment as the restaurant would be a better option if you want an quiet setting. The entertainment is getting so much better and really bringing people to the village. Hats off to all the hard work going into the place. We will be coming back more regularly many thanks for great family times.
