Indian Palace - Te Awamutu

I visited this restaurant with my family after a long day of shopping and was pleased to find that we were immediately served two large, ice-cold jugs of water as soon as we sat down. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and arrived quickly, so we didn't have to wait long at all. The butter chicken was not your typical sweet version; it was delicious and had a comforting, homemade taste. My kids and wife were really happy with their meals as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would give it a full five stars!

I ordered a takeaway and was pleased to find that both dishes had a generous amount of meat. However, I found the sauces to be a bit too watery for my taste. I requested the Kiwi hot, which had a nice level of spiciness. The manager also offered us a $20 deal that included curry, rice, naan, and a soft drink. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the experience.

My family and I have been enjoying meals from this restaurant almost weekly for years, and the food has consistently been excellent. Since my partner recently moved from the US, she's been craving butter chicken almost every night after I introduced her to it, so it's clear she's a fan. The curry is delicious, the naan is tasty, and the portions are generous enough to have leftovers for breakfast. I highly recommend this place!
