Suncourt Indian - Taupo

After searching the area for an authentic curry, I stumbled upon a paradise for spice enthusiasts in a rather bland culinary landscape. We enjoyed two fantastic curries, perfectly spiced to our liking. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving flavorful dishes. Even the sparrows around enjoyed the leftovers—though we didn’t have any to spare!

The takeout is also delicious, and the manager is very polite. I placed a takeout order, and even though there was a bit of a wait, the manager graciously offered us some complimentary snacks. Overall, the service was outstanding!

This restaurant truly embodies the essence of Indian cuisine. The food is genuinely authentic Indian fare. The staff is both friendly and professional. However, the prices are on the higher side of affordable, which seems reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food. That said, if I'm paying a premium for my meal, I expect to be served with proper cutlery, rather than paper plates and wooden utensils (which, to be fair, are great for takeout). I ordered takeaway again from the restaurant—same delicious taste and good value for money! Kudos for the note! Awesome experience!

During an overnight stop in Taupo, we've decided to get Indian food delivery to the motel for dinner. and two thumbs up to this restaurant meals arrived in perfect temperature, generous portion, delicious taste, spices were well-balanced reasonable price. a mood-booster after a long-haul drive well done will surely order again.

We popped in for lunch and were delighted with the food which was cooked to our spice-loving palette. The lamb was so tender. The service was great. I would highly recommend.
