Bistro Lago - Taupo

The second time I'm here was the last time about 3 or 4 years ago. the quality of eating has not changed, well made youngs. eating is incredible, had a mix of eating. lamb-fell and green harissa, scotch cuisine and mushroom with bone-mark butter. leberparfait, baked cauliflower with cheese and other bits. and maic with truffle and parmesan. I couldn't owe it. will be back again, hopefully I will not wait 3 to 4 years this time!

The dinner is marvellous: beef is soft, oyster is fresh, cauliflower soup is yummy. The buffet breakfast is enjoyable too. Friendly staff and lovely customers services.

Food was perfect, kids meals were excellent too. 10yo son declared it the best meal of my whole life Congrats Alister and team!

Lovely dining experience. Food wad delicious particularly my salmon main. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend

We had breakfast twice and cocktails once at Bistro Lago during our stay at the Hilton. The staff at the restaurant is very friendly, willing to go above and beyond when we had special needs for our kids. The breakfast is extensive, with warm food cooked to order normal egg stuff you would expect and cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit, pastries and a lot more. They make good cocktails as well, with small plates that are quite delicious (try anything seafood).
