Contribuiți la feedbackYesterday, my wife, brother, sister-in-law, and I visited Pizza Hut in Taunton. We were told we couldn't reserve a table, but we were seated promptly upon arrival as the restaurant wasn't busy. However, it was clear that other tables had been reserved and labeled as such. The table we were seated at was unstable, so we moved to a different table without any issues. We were instructed to order through a smartphone using a QR code on the table, which wasn't our preferred method but manageable. The main problem we encountered was being prompted to tip before receiving any service or food. We decided to tip in cash at the end of the meal. The salad bar and pizzas we ordered were decent but nothing exceptional. Our biggest complaint was the lack of service. Despite being seated, the staff never checked on us or asked if we needed anything. They stood at the front of the restaurant chatting with arms folded. After finishing our pizzas, we had to approach the staff ourselves to order dessert. Even then, our table wasn't cleared before dessert was served. When we asked for the table to be cleared first, the waitress seemed annoyed. Overall, the desserts were uninspiring, and we left without leaving a tip, which is unusual for us. We couldn't help but wonder if our lack of upfront tipping led to the poor service. In conclusion, the food was okay, but the lack of service was disappointing. We would advise avoiding Pizza Hut in Taunton if you're looking for a decent dining experience and suggest trying their competitors instead.
The service at this restaurant was outstanding. The presentation of the food was exquisite. The restrooms and tables were impeccably clean. Ronnie was a remarkable host!
Terrible service and rude manager. I rung up ahead and confirmed that the buffet was still running and after driving 30 minutes with my family I get there only to be turned away by the rude manager Matt. He said they were only taking bookings today and when I explained I rung before hand and said I'd be there I wasn't told I had to make a booking. He said that it was because someone had rung in sick with covid within that 30 minute difference and he had a staff shortage. All the while speaking to me within 1 meter distance with no mask on. There were plenty of seats available and penty of food out for the buffet. Instead of an apology he was arrogant and rude about it as I stood there with my children and even had the audacity to laugh as I turned to leave. Horrible people skills and for that I will never be returning.
Came here using 241 Meerkat Meals. Great value when doing this, and eating Pizza Hut in house is always better than a delivery, those deep pans..... Have to order on phone which is annoying.
Family birthday celebration for ten people, my wife and I had the goat pizza (sharing), beautiful flavours on a soft but crispy base,excellent service by attentive waitress. Would thoroughly recommend.
