Mort's Deli Tarzana

Great food. Very cool home town vibe. When you go ask to have Laura as your server. Very nice lady. She will make your visit special.

I drive up from La Jolla to Tarzana every six weeks or so to get my hair done, and almost every time I meet friends at Mort's for breakfast or lunch. Love the eggs and onions, cabbage soup and brisket sandwiches. But I never see Gary when I'm here; would like to say hi sometime to a fellow ex-Canarsien!

I love going there for breakfast on Sunday mornings... The food and service is excellent!!!

This is a fantastic spot for bagels topped with lox, onions, and tomatoes. Everything was delicious, and the tomatoes were particularly fresh and flavorful.

I grew up in Encino Tarzana area. Have been to Mort's since before I could remember. Mort used to be there and always said Hi to everyone. Best original deli ever.
