Tipsy Pig Gastropub - Taguig

Tipsy Pig is a gastropub! So look forward to being treated with amazingly creative dishes! I liked:1. Variety of dishes in their menu;2. Tasty familiar dishes with a twist;3. Good selection of beverages;4. They know where to put the crunch in their food;5. Healthy options are available;6. Efficient service;7. Good portions at reasonable prices.

Great place for a dinner wih friends or family. Very good philippino food, especially pigs meals. I liked it

We stopped off for a couple of drinks and a light snack during a quiet afternoon period. We were able to choose our table and get a drink from the wide drinks menu. Unfortunately we could not get a second drink or the bill as we could not attract service. Not being picky, but when there are 5-6 staff and two customers it is quite sad. We felt guilty so after ten minutes attempting to get the attention of staff we took our empty glasses to the check out and asked for and paid the Bill. Where were the staff? One was smoking and reading his phone, three were sitting in a booth at the register talking and socialising and one at the register.No, we will not be back.

A real modern restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Great choices on the menu with dishes which made the water in my mouth running!! The meat was so tender it melted in my mouth and was loving it!

Yesterday we celebrated mother's day without the mothers in the family (they're all in the province). We thought of having dinner within Burgos Circle since it's near our place. The restaurant we would have wanted to dine in was so full that we could no longer wait for our number to be called. And so we tried Tipsy Pig since there were empty tables in the restaurant. Fast forward when we were ordering our food, the crew who attended us did not know which green salad was the best seller. He also did not know if their kare kare included rice. Since he was embarrassed that he could not answer anymore he asked another crew to assist us by calling her "pssssttt". And, not to our surprise, it's as if no one heard him :) So he went over to the girl and ask her assistance. But before the girl agreed to cover for him they first argued/bargained. I would assume so because it took few seconds before the girl came to our table (we were looking at them the whole time). Finally! Somebody in the resto knew what we were asking about. Fast forward again, the crew came with a tray of orders. The crew serving us placed the tray on top of the railing of stairs near me and handed to me the plate of salad. When i got the salad, i asked my sister who has been working in hotels overseas if it's really okay for the crew not to place the food himself on the table. She said, they were not like that. Next crew came and did the same, this one was worse! My sister and i were chatting when we realized that the crew was waiting for me to get the bowl of kare kare from his hand. Since the table was full of big plates and wooden server i thought he would help us arrange them so they would all fit in (like in other restos). We fixed the table ourselves while he was holding the other plate. When we were eating we realized there were no serving spoons for kare kare and shrimps. Again, we repeatedly called the crew (3 of them) who were as if super busy on the other side. Somebody came over to give us what we needed. And the horror did not end there, we did not learn our lesson well... we ordered 2 choco lava for dessert! When the order came, the crew put it on the table and left. Well, you guessed it right... no spoons for us! So we had to request again. I don't know if this was a product of lack of customer service training, employee demotivation, or lack of teamwork. I may have been demanding but i think my demands were not even impossible. The whole time that we were there, they were only serving 2 tables on the second floor because one family left already. Ours was a party of 3 and the other table was a party of 4. I would say 2 tables were not difficult to manage. Sad to say, the food was great but the service was terrible.
