Tenya Tempura Tendon - Taguig

My partner was craving for japanese food while in market market and found thia resto. There wasn't much options... i think it is a tempura resto rather than a japanese resto. But then, we had enough to satiate the craving for janpanese cuisine.

The restaurant has an entrance from inside the mall. The place was relativley empty when we dropped by for dinner. Menu is fairly short with different tempura options. We decided to try the classic black prawn tempura over rice and the pork belly tempura. Both dishes were good . The tempura batter is seasoned just right and stays really crunchy. Serving size is also ok and in fact good value for money. Service is also fast and friendly.

Most Japanese restaurants offer a whole range from sashimi to sushi, tempura, terayaki etc. This resto focuses on tempura of different varieties. I must say I enjoyed that lunch with a friend and they have bento box offerings too. My friend who is married to a Japanese and lived in Japan said they liked this restaurant as the tempura taste is authentic. I really would not know myself but I enjoyed it just the same

One of the best tempuras ive tasted. Soft, melts in your mouth but crunchy tempura crumbs. Kiddie meals comes in fire truck plates with yakult! Also order the sundae dessert which is yummy vanilla ice cream with chocolate fudge, caramel popcorn and choco filled bear shaped waffle.Their menu is mainly tempura but it is a delight to eat it.Service is really good and staff attentive.

Unfortunately, I received the wrong order due to a mistake with the stamp. The food was nothing exceptional, but the waiter was very attentive and perceptive, able to anticipate customers' needs based on their body language.
